Type 1B hair has a slightly thicker structure compared to Type 1A. It features a slight bend and more volume. This type can hold small curls and experiences moderate shrinkage when wet. Consider using a clarifying shampoo and blow drying upside down to prevent tangles for extra lift. Class 1B hair tends to frizz more easily and become oily quickly, so proper care is essential. Type 2A Hair:
Type 2A hair has a subtle wave pattern and a workable texture. It is known for its soft waves and versatility. To define the tides, use lightweight styling products and sulfate-free shampoos regularly. Deep conditioning is also recommended. Type 2A hair has loose S-shaped curls with low density and can become heavy if overloaded with styling products. Air drying is beneficial; the proper shampoo schedule is crucial to prevent dryness.
Type 2B Hair:
Type 2B hair falls between straight and curly textures, featuring loose S-shaped waves. The strands are of medium thickness and possess natural volume and bounce. Using styling products with a light hold to define the loose coils and prevent frizz. In humid climates, proper care is needed to avoid excessive frizz. Hydrating shampoos, conditioners, and leave-in products should be used regularly. Enhance the appearance of Type 2B waves with highlights or low buns with baby braids for an eye-catching style.
