Great Clips Hair Salons

Each Great Clips location sets its prices, but aims to keep haircuts within an affordable range. Adult haircuts cost about $13, while kids and seniors seniors cut cost $14.

Many stylists are experienced with fade cuts, but it is wise to bring in a picture of the style you desire before scheduling an appointment. Also, read online reviews of salons in your area before visiting one.

Clips of Kindness

No-frills salon chains remain popular as more Americans seek budget-friendly self-care options. Stylists are trained to be efficient and deliver top-quality haircuts. In addition, services include shampooing and styling for all ages and types. They also offer bang trims and beard trims at reduced rates.

Great Clips stylists stay abreast of the newest hair trends and styles, such as fades. Many are familiar with providing fades as requested by clients.

Great Clips partners with many non-profit organizations to aid those in need. For instance, they sponsor Operation: Fishing Freedom, which offers therapeutic fishing trips for veterans who have PTSD. Great Clips’ generosity helps make an impactful statement about who we are as an organization.

Children’s Miracle Network

On the seventh floor of Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in Brownstown Township, there’s lots of chatter, laughter, and the sound of hair clippers as Room 716 has been transformed into an unofficial salon. Eighteen-year-old Jack, an 18-month hospital patient, captivates everyone present, including nurses, doctors, environmental services staff, and therapists.

Great Clips salons nationwide raise millions for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals in October each year through fundraising initiatives held during nationwide salon events. These funds support life-saving treatments, research projects, and medical supplies needed by Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. Over 1,200 salons nationwide participate and raise millions of dollars annually.

Operation: Fishing Freedom

Since 2009, Operation: Fishing Freedom has taken over 2,000 veterans fishing through Take A Vet Fishing, its non-profit partner organization. Co-founders Jay Garstecki and Ben Olsen heard numerous inspiring tales from these heroes and decided to share their stories. Fishing can provide mental relaxation, low-impact exercise, and social camaraderie to alleviate post-traumatic stress symptoms. Operation: Fishing Freedom relies on corporate sponsors to produce future shows.

Wigs for Kids

Wigs for Kids is a unique non-profit organization that turns donated hair into stylish wigs for children with cancer and medically related hair loss. Seeing a child-like Bridget receive her new wig is cute and inspiring – you won’t believe how quickly her life changed!

Carlo founded Wigs for Kids after witnessing a friend succumb to cancer and asked him to help other people as she had been allowed. Wigs for Kids accepts donations of at least 12 inches of unprocessed hair tied into small ponytails with at least two rubber bands. Gray or chemically treated hair can also be taken. No fees are assessed to recipients or their families for receiving the donated wigs.
