Modern Hair Color

Karen Hair Cut Design Manual

Modern hair coloring started in the late 1800s when the unknown well-meaning English scientist was trying to develop a cure for malaria. Instead of changing his hair color, he developed a dye that was longer lasting and more vibrant than any other color known at that time; it was described as “a new colorless dye” by its manufacturer. The result of this bright new hue was an entirely new look for hair cutters-karen hair cut designs. According to the Karen hair cut design manual, hair cutters are only needed when one is “not satisfied with the present hair cut.” A person may be dissatisfied with the current hair cut due to a number of reasons, such as red hair, gray hair, bad hair cut, uneven hair cut, undesirable color or length, short hair, or long hair.
